Sathlak Community Development Alliance Ltd - Christian Children’s Fund of Canada (CCFC) has been working in Sri Lanka more than 30 years by facilitating to intervene the development issues in Sri Lanka under the themes of Education, Health and Nutrition, Water Sanitation & Hygiene, Sustainable livelihood development and Organizational Strengthening through its Country Office. With the facing out its programmes from 31st March 2012, CCFC facilitated and committed to establish a local organization, Sathlak Community Development Alliance Ltd. (SCDAL) through the leadership of its local staff to continue the similar interventions in Sri Lanka. With the blessing of CCFC the SCDAL is continuing its interventions based on the above development themes but more focusing on ‘Sustainable Livelihood Development’ targeting the deprived communities in Sri Lanka.

Key Objectives

• To promote and foster business enterprises especially micro, small and medium enterprises to be competitive, socially responsible and environmental friendly  and thereby contribute for the socio-economic development of Sri Lanka
• To provide consultancy services to local/international non-governmental organizations and small &medium entrepreneurs
• To provide Micro Finance services to micro and small enterprises
• To provide community development services to marginalized groups in the country specially in the North, East and Estate sector
• To raise funds for realization of the objectives of organization by means of,
  • Regular donations in cash or kind
  • Subsidies by public and private sector Institutions
  • Financial grants by Local and International Agencies
